Seller did not warn me before pruchase that this required a Voltage Converter, and the seller decided to EDIT AND ADD to the description only after me debating with him AFTER purchase. Most voltage converters are priced at approx same rate as the oven itself. This makes it very impractical to go in for this brand with US ratings as compared to readily available other international brands in the market. The Seller has been dishonest on this one. Im rating this three star instead of a five. The product is really nice though/

I did not use this as much as other people probably do. Toast in the morning and an occasion reheat in the Air Fry. Cleaning the bottom tray that was removable was easy but the rest was not. The dials that were really tight are what kept breaking.

Works OK, loud fan. Like the elements, even heat. Better than a solid element oven, saves us $ in the summer!

Works well as a toaster, oven and air fryer. I love it’s big capacity

The air fryer works really good. The toaster oven is very easy to operate. Not complicated. The only negative I have is the air fryer vibrates when you have the air fryer rack in.

Grew up on a black & decker toaster and it lived FOREVER. Put my toaster together today and absolutely LOVE IT. It’s sleek, perfect size for what I wanted (fits a 9×13 easily) and can ever cook two racks at the same time. One 9×13, and something else that is less deep. Which is amazing. I love how straight-forward it is. No guessing which buttons to press. Wasn’t looking for a new-age oven with lots of buttons and “features” or a digital count-down… but I did want an air fryer (basket is AWESOME) and I did want the extra wide space inside here. So easy to clean. So straight forward. Gets up to temp quickly and is very spot on. Happy customer so far 🙂

Wow. Finally I got what I wanted. This was my third intent in 2 weeks. The first one, it was too small. The second one, too sofisticated for my wife. She cannot handle it. I didn’t return it because I thraw away all paking stuff. I gave it away to a relative. This, is perfect for our needs. Thank you B&D and Amazon.

This toaster oven/air fryer started out great. And by that, I mean it worked. Which is a pretty low bar for a brand new, never used, appliance. That bar, however quickly became pie in the sky unobtainable for this cheap, poorly designed, and terribly manufactured piece of garbage (literally, because the garbage is where it ended up just SIX MONTHS after purchasing!). As I said, it worked, right out of the box. It turned on, it got hot, it (usually) turned off when the timer was up. Sadly, ALL of these most basic of functions were well beyond the technical abilities of the pitiful excuse for an “Industrial Designer” and the slave labor employing, cost cutting ineptitude of the Third World “Manufacturer” that Black and Decker outsourced this loser to. Within a month, ALL of the controls became as sketchy and unreliable as your sister’s unemployed “drummer” boyfriend. The Temperature selector would occasionally hit our intended target, though not nearly often enough to be considered, by any definition of the word, “accurate”. And that knob eventually (6 months) gave up its valiant struggle with mediocrity, and just stopped trying. The “Timer” never really functioned in the realm of actual “time”. Its range of motion from new, only covered one direction, forward. If you missed your target time for cooking on the first spin, too bad, Einstein, because there’s no going backwards. Time only marches on for this machine. Your two choices are burnt food or skipped meals. I mean, seriously, what knobs only turn in one direction? That seems harder to engineer than just doing it right.
The entire machine just stopped working before the six month anniversary of this bad decision, and this glorious testament to sub standard manufacturing became an oversized place holder on our kitchen counter, wasting more real estate than a Time Share in Syria, while we searched for what is apparently a Holy Grail appliance; a toaster oven that actually does even a small percentage of what the pretty, full color photos on cardboard box it comes in claims it’ll do.
I know. Call me a dreamer.
Added Note: For the adventurous among you that have already purchased this abomination and are currently experiencing its painful inadequacy, do a quick YouTube search for this Black and Decker model and add “troubleshooting” to your search. There are an enormous number of videos of intrepid tinkerers taking their lives in their hands by opening up the case and trying to “fix” the shoddy workmanship found inside. Wires that are only partially connected… or not connected at all, a lack of heat insulation or even basic safety components, wires that glow red hot when the appliance is plugged in, the list of problems seems as long as the component parts listed for this junk in the “manual”. Its an insurance nightmare waiting to happen.
But be forewarned, you can’t “fix” stupid.

Okay here’s the surprise I had to replace my expensive Breville which lasted 6 years which sounds good but when you pay almost $300.00 for a countertop oven you hope for more than that. I did love my Breville but I hated that you had to use small pans. This one is great I can fit all my pans in this and I find it cooks fine. Is it as fancy as the Breville no but it works and looks good and it was 1/3rd the price.

Having had a Black & Decker toaster oven for over 10 years, I was pleased to find the addition of an air fryer to this model without all the electronics. This product operates with mechanical controls like our previous oven. The only difference is the addition of an air fryer option. Air fryer is very good, but cooks hotter in the rear (need to rotate food or basket) and no temperature can be set–only time. As I’ve used an air fryer for some time, the lack of a temperature setting was moot. You do have to check it often. Once I’ve cooked our common foods, I know how long is needed. Very good find and very low price.

These Black & Decker ovens (same goes for the 6 slice version of this oven) have a few advantages over other toaster ovens.
1. The quartz heating elements heat up at least twice as fast as the ordinary metal elements in most ovens.
2. The controls are simple and logical knobs – no annoying touchpad or digital controls to break.
3. When the timer reaches its end, there’s a simple “ding”, no annoying electronic beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, like most appliances have.
4. With these B&D toaster ovens you can do much (for us, most) of what we used to use the big range oven for. This oven’s big enough for pizzas, cake pans, casseroles, and most other baking dishes. All you’ll need your big range oven for is Thanksgiving turkey, and other oversize baking jobs.
