    This is light enough for a woman to use. It does not make lots of noise, which is nice. Works very well to trim hedges and small branches. I wish it could cut bigger branches but it cut the size as indicated in the description. This is a good buy and recommend it!

    I got this because I was getting tired of getting the cord out to trim my hedges. I already have a 40V B&D line trimmer, so that’s why I got this. Two batteries now… It works great, has good power and long battery life. The only thing I find weird is that the safety button has to be pulled back with your thumb, which seems odd. Once I got used to it, it’s fine.

    I absolutely love Black and Decker Products! I have a 20v Black and Decker Hedgetrimmer, that I bought in 2016 that still works and that I love.I have some very rough property that I am taking care of by hand and I needed another hedgetrimmer so I can cut more down at once.I bought this 40v hedgetrimmer with the battery and charger during Amazon Prime, while on sale.I got everything for $84, which to me was a great deal.You have a much longer run time with 40v and it runs and cuts extremely smooth and the steel blade is sturdy and strong, it is much stronger than the 20v and can cut down thick weeds and brush, tall blackberry canes and small, thin trees.I am not strong enough to operate heavy machinery and this hedgetrimmer is nice and light.It operates just like a syche, only with a motor.I can now cut down much larger sections of tall weeds.I absolutely love this hedgetrimmer and best of all, it came completely assembled.

    I have an older version and well the batteries just won’t hold a charge any more so it was time for an upgrade. The battery on this is more powerful, holds a charge for close to an hour of working. I find it light and easy to handle. Does a great job for trimming. Very happy with it.

    I used this hedge trimmer for the first time yesterday, and I was very impressed with the battery life and the ease in which this hedge trimmer trimmed not only hedges, but also small saplings up to three eights of an inch in diameter. It is a definite plus to have for your yard work. Having no cord is a Great as well.

    I used the BLACK+DECKER 40V Hedge Trimmer on our front and side shrubs. Used it for about an hour and it cut great for the holly bushes and other, more manageable shrubs. Checked the battery indicator and it looked to be still over 3/4 charged. No issues with the hedge trimmer at all. The 40V is the way I’d go when deciding on a hedge trimmer. Well worth the extra cost.

    Well packaged and quick delivery. No more cord dragging or wrist fatigue from the old heavy hedge trimmer. Battery life good through multiple uses over time. Cuts through some hefty stuff with ease. Light enough to use with one hand when reaching. Very pleased so far.

    Works well and seems rugged enough to handle all of my trimming needs. The 22″ size is definitely big enough and it’s easy to maneuver, not too heavy either. Cordless is the way to go for sure for a hedge trimmer. Battery life of 45 minutes is sufficient, it never ran out in the times I used it and I wouldn’t want to trim hedges and bushes for more than 45 minutes at a time, who’s going to clean up that mess!
