    This thing is awesome it is light weight and the battery life is long. I got it to trim some bushes around my home and it does the job i ended up using it for some other branches that were sticking out from a tree and some vines that were on my fence its very easy to use and good for the money

    After trying a friend’s trimmer, I bought my own. It is easy to charge and, while it still makes me a bit nervous, it is easy to use and the safety features are solid. It works great on small to mid-sized branches. It couldn’t cut larger ones that were more than 2″ but I really didn’t expect it to. Not having a cord makes it much easier to manage and safer as well as nothing gets in the way while you are trimming. It’s a solid trimmer for most home needs.

    This tool is very lightweight and easy to use. I use it to cut down all of my hosta plants and I can still trim a small bush. The only downside is that it is not as strong as an electric one.

    I already have the little sweeper and the weedwacker and now got this trimmer. I like it, it’s light, not too much vibration and having no corde to worry about or have it cut is no longueur a problem….it actually makes my work faster as well as having a long blade. Came with a good fast ans very small charger. Unless you are using a hedge trimmer to cut trees…this hedge trimmer will do a great job at hedge and flower bushe trim

    Received the Black & Decker trimmer today – battery and charger were included in the listing but were NOT included when the trimmer arrived! Extremely disappointing! Not sure if I should return it or ask to have the battery and charger sent separately. HELP!!!

    I’d been using the 40V for 10 years and it finally died. Actually it burned itself to death with acrid smoke coming from the motor. I was skeptical about the 20V….not anymore. This tool cuts everything the 40V did; old 7 ft. tall forsythia,6ft weigela, ornamental grass at end of season, english ivy …all of it. Of course it bogs down at over an inch dia.but using cut and cut again approach it works. It is light and I can use one arm to cut over my head for a few minutes and I am 76 years old. I am very happy with it. I also have the 20V chain saw for heavier growth so I have two batteries. It charges fast and although I haven’t timed it , I haven’t cursed at it yet for running out of juice while trimming about several 3-7 foot shrubs. But I do work fast so my use time might not be the same as yours. I rarely write reviews but did this one because there might be folks on the edge of a decision on this tool. I would say get it, use it and like all Amazon sold products if it doesn’t live up to your needs return it.
